About Us

Treasure State Coffee Co was established in September 2011 by small-town Montanans, and coffee connoisseurs Jim Bliss & Shelly Smith.

With a vision for outstanding, uncomplicated coffee roasts, the duo set out to establish coffee roasts that were not only delicious, but spoke to Montanans across the state (and beyond!).

Air Roasted Coffees

Treasure State is set apart from the crowd with their ‘air roasted’ coffees. Air Roasting is a process that uses a bed of hot air perfectly roast green coffee beans, as opposed to the traditional method of steel drum tumbling. This process gives the coffee a smoother, cleaner and less bitter taste!
